We have been completely blown away by the support that we have been receiving this festive season. Not only are Home-Start UK one of the selected charities to receive funds through this year’s John Lewis and Waitrose Christmas Give A Little Love campaign, but Home-Start Bradford District has been paired up with the Waitrose at Otley to receive donations from them.
Last week Waitrose Otley presented our Operations Manager, Christine Gaffey with a cheque for £333.00, together with a trolley full of goodies for our Christmas Hampers for local families. And if that wasn’t enough Lush at the White Rose Centre donated 21 gifts full of LUSH products for our families.
With the help of our Christmas helpers – Bradford Central Foodbank and our volunteers, we managed to do the rounds late last week to make the festive season a little brighter for our families.
Last but certainly not least the hubby of our Linda Preston, Steve virtually completed cycling up to the top of Mount Everest! He has managed to raise a fantastic £645.00 so far for us.
