Then volunteering with Home-Start Bradford District could be the start of a fabulous new journey for you.

The volunteer preparation course starts on Monday 19 January 2026 and will run for seven weeks on Mondays as follows:

You will learn so much including:

? Welcome, Introduction and role
? Values & attitudes; Communication
? Supporting parents & meeting the needs of children
? Confidentiality and diary sheets
? Safeguarding children

A catch-up session will be available for any missed modules.

Each volunteer will need to have completed an application form (including providing contact details to obtain two references) had an interview and provided documents for a DBS check.
